Nikolai was born in the Middle of Nowhere (which is very nearly the geographic center of the North American Continent), and spent his childhood blowing on the winds. He has scribbled and ciphered all his life, with a plethora of screenplays and evolving inventions filling his office. Kanigaard is the land he loves most, for it is a land of dream. He will tell you it is the Dragons of Kanigaard that tell him these stories, and he is but the scribe who shares it with the world.
He lives with his wife and daughter, a wolfish Husky, one cat, five chickens, and a variety of dragons in a small village at the foot of Sun Mountain.
